Yes, you can still apply for MM2H if you are fulfilled with the financial requirement, which is to place the Fixed Deposit and to purchase the residential in Malaysia as per MM2H requirements. As long as you do not have infectious disease such HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB), etc. Your application will be considered.

The applicant’s passport must be valid for 24 months at least before applying the MM2H pass.

Yes, you need to provide a copy of the Marriage Certificate. All documents MUST be in English and need to be Certified True Copy by the Embassy in the applicant country.

Only under Platinum category can bring in disabled children that is working, Gold and Silver do not allow. If disabled children but not working all category accepted, no age limit. Need to have medical report as proof.

No, only Legal Spouse with official Marriage Certificate can apply as dependent.

Children must be under 34 years of age, unmarried, and not employed in Malaysia.

Yes, need to provide passport, birth certificate, legal and official custody documents issued by Court is required. All documents should be in English & certified true copy by respective embassy or Malaysian Embassy in respective country.

Only Platinum category can bring Maid.

The age requirement for Foreign Maid ranges from 21 to 45 years old.

No limit. But depends on the needs and abilities of the principal.

Yes, need to cancel the existing employment pass before applying for MM2H, each person can only hold 1 visa at a time.

Participant is NOT eligible for Permanent Residence or Citizenship in Malaysia.

The visa requirements will depend on your nationality. We will assist you with Visa With Reference (VWR) if required.

Third party submission will NOT be accepted. Only registered agents with valid license with MOTAC can do the submission via MOTAC counter.

Applicants are required to submit a passport sized photograph with blue background only.

The Letter of Good Conduct MUST be issued by the respective authorities from the applicant’s origin country.

If applicant in Malaysia
Translation can be done in Malaysia by Malaysian Institute of Translation & Books AND Certified by applicant’s Respective Embassy in Malaysia. The translated copy must be certified and original copy.

If applicant outside Malaysia
Translation also can be done in applicant’s country; Translated by the authorized translator and certified true copy by Malaysian Embassy in respective country. The translated copy must be certified and original copy.

2-3 months.

After the MM2H is approved. If it is done prior to the MM2H approval, the report is not acceptable.

Yes can, if the Policy will cover Worldwide or Malaysia region. It must be stated in the policy.

Dependents also required to obtain the health insurance that is applicable in Malaysia from any insurance company.

Only contagious and infectious diseases will affect your application.

You must stay for a minimum of 90 days (cumulative) in one year.

The 90 days will start from the date of MM2H pass issued.

Yes can. Applicant & Dependent can combine the 90 days accumulative stay in Malaysia. If not, the pass will be revoked. Applicants above 50 years old are not subject to this requirement.

Yes.

The MM2H committee reserves the right to reject your renewal application at their discretion. You need to renew your visa sticker every 5 years.

Participants receive tax exemption on foreign funds or foreign income, such as their fixed deposit (FD).
Participants may not need to pay any tax but need to file personal tax in Malaysia if staying more than 182 days in a year.

12 months after issuance of MM2H Visa, the participant may withdraw up to 50% of the fixed deposit for approved expenses. For example, property purchase, medical expenses, and education for children in Malaysia. Upon termination of MM2H Program, the full deposit can be withdrawn.

Submit an official request with a letterhead and proof of payment (on medical, property, or education only). In other words, applicants need to pay for the expenses first and use the receipt to withdraw the Fixed Deposit.

No cannot. You can only hold one pass at a time. You must terminate the MM2H pass if you want to apply for an Employment Pass.

Yes, it is COMPULSORY to purchase and own a residence within 1 year from the date of MM2H pass issued. You must inform the agency once you purchase the property.

All participants MUST purchase residential properties valued as per requirement by MOTAC according to your MM2H Pass Category OR at the minimum purchase price for foreigners established by the respective state governments (whichever is higher).

The applicant must follow MM2H guidelines and state requirements, whichever is higher.

Yes, the building must have CF (Certificate of Fitness), except for SEZ/SFZ category.

Not allowed to sell the residence within 10 years, except when upgrading the residence (replacing the old house with a new house of minimum or higher value).

If your property value meets the new MM2H requirements, you do not need to buy a new one.

No.

Yes. Only if the residence is purchased in less than 2 years.

Your MM2H Fixed Deposit can only be refunded after you have officially cancelled or terminated your MM2H visa. You will receive 100% or the balance of the principal amount, along with any interest earned.

Yes. Provide birth certificate, passport size photo, and passport. The birth certificate should be in English and certified true copy by respective embassy or Malaysian Embassy in the respective country.

Yes. You need to submit a divorce certificate and new marriage certificate. The marriage certificate must be in English and certified true copy by respective embassy or Malaysian Embassy in the respective country.

Yes, within 1 month if you would like to transfer the principal to the next of kin.

Provide the Certified True Copy of Death Certificate to the agent to obtain approval from MOTAC before dealing with the bank.

Yes. The child must be below 18 years old and studying in a secondary or primary school. The agent will assist with applying for Permission to Study.
If the dependents wish to pursue tertiary education, they must terminate their MM2H dependent pass and apply for a Student Pass.

They are allowed to attend both government and private schools. However, for government (public) school, approval must be obtained from the Ministry of Education Malaysia, and this process may take a longer time. It is advised to go with Private School.

Children below 7 years old are NOT required to apply for Student Visa or Permission to Study.

Your children can be your dependent if they are below 21 years old. If they are above 21 years old, they must renew their dependent visa annually until age 34, provided they are unemployed and single. They can apply for MM2H after turning 34.

Transfer of MM2H visa to a different country passport is not allowed.

Please provide both the old and new passports so we can arrange for Transfer of Endorsement of the MM2H pass sticker from the old passport to the new one.

**Before the maximum years of the program are completed:**

Yes, participants must complete the termination process at the MM2H Immigration Unit in order to release the fixed deposit.
